Individual Therapy
Our therapists are trained in multiple modalities of individual therapy, including interpersonal process, humanistic-existential, and family-systems therapies grounded in a person/client-centered philosophy.
Couples Therapy
We have three therapists – Chad Corbley, Abbe Straw, and Brian Ward – who work with couples of all kinds. All our therapists are experienced and comfortable working with people in diverse types of relationships (e.g., polyamory, power-sharing relationships, and individuals/couples identifying as part of the BDSM community).
Group Therapy
City Counseling offers three group therapy opportunities – a Gay/Bisexual men’s group on Monday nights from 6-7:30 facilitated by Chad Corbley, a Gay/Bisexual Men’s group on Thursday nights from 6:30-8 facilitated by Dorian Kondas, and a once-monthly group for trans, binary, and gender-nonconforming individuals on Saturdays from 10-12. Please call or email for availability. Stay tuned for new group offerings!
Weekends of Recovery
Chad volunteers with two organizations (unaffiliated with City Counseling) dedicated to helping adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, rape, and other forms of sexual violence. Taking Back Ourselves focuses on female-identified survivors while Men Healing focuses on survivors who identify as male. Feel free to reach out to Chad (drcorbley@gmail.com) with questions about the organizations and the weekends of recovery.
