Working With Insurance
- To bill your sessions, we must provide payers with a diagnosis and dates of service.
- Occasionally your insurance company may seek more information, even session notes, which we are obligated to provide.
- Various factors including copays/coinsurance, where you are in your yearly deductible, which insurance company you have, and which insurance plan you choose all factor into your out-of-pocket costs. The only way to know for certain about cost ahead of time is to contact your insurance company.

Insurances Not Accepted
Regrettably, City Counseling is no longer accepting new clients with Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield. We have attempted to work with Anthem on establishing reasonable rates of reimbursement but have been unsuccessful. Some (but not all) of our providers are credentialed with Medicare, Medicaid, and various ACA marketplace plans. If you have one of these plans, please reach out regarding availability.
