As a lifelong cinephile, theater kid, and bookworm, I am a lover of storytelling who believes that everybody has a unique narrative to share and I feel privileged when I get to hear those stories.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Sexuality Studies from Bowling Green State University in 2015 and a Master of Social Work from Ohio University in 2025. In the decade between, I have had the honor of walking alongside individuals from the LGBTQ+ community, those living with HIV, seniors, and many times all three simultaneously. I am driven by my perspective of identity as a salient and fluid experience bolstered by trust in one’s community and in oneself.

My therapeutic style is collaborative, direct, and sometimes grounded in humor when it helps to lighten the weight of hard conversations. I draw from cognitive-behavioral and harm reduction perspectives for emotional regulation and resilience building, while also incorporating narrative models to separate a person’s identity and worth from the problems they are facing and help them to understand themselves better. I view therapy less as a journey with a destination and more like maintaining a workbench: sometimes your tools are in perfect order, while at other times your pliers need cleaned, your screws need reorganized, or you simply need an entirely new socket to repair a lawnmower that’s having some engine trouble. My goal in this work is to equip others with tools to navigate avenues for healing and minimize the impact of systemic factors on mental health within oppressed communities.

Additionally, I specialize in assessment and surgical readiness letters for adults pursuing gender-affirming medical care in accordance with the WPATH Standards of Care. I approach this process collaboratively by centering autonomy and individual lived experience while acknowledging the medicalization of gender identity that occurs within healthcare systems and the impact of current legislative attacks on the TGNC community as a whole.

I am a Capricorn, fluent in both Spongebob and Golden Girls quotes, and treat the Academy Awards like the Super Bowl. Self-care for me usually looks like curling up at home with a book, sitting around a bonfire with my dogs, or going to a movie and doing some city exploration with my partners in Columbus and Chicago.

Ultimately, I find joy and purpose in growth. If you’re looking for a space to explore your own story, I’d be honored to help you write your next chapter.
